That's the main ticket in Paris, because WDSP is such a small park that it's easy to spend a few hours there in addition to DLP.

As you get older, the ability to relive past memories becomes more and more important. The Disney parks provide that.

I thought they had been in late spring in recent years. I guess they didn't want the spring break crowds to get in at the 'cheap' rate

Not that they went up by much or that WDW prices increases will affect me, but still.

The only thing this did was cause me to immediately buy my annual pass to Universal. We knew we were going to buy one this year (new HP attractions), but were waiting for some reason to buy. With Disney raising prices, we figured now was the time to buy before Universal raised their prices, to "match" the ones Disney did. And now I'm guessing Disney stopped where they did so that someone else will be the first to charge $100 for a one day pass to enter a park.

Disney's price increases have been growing significantly since he took control, and there really haven't been the in-park improvements to back them up. And if you think ~4% is a lot, you should take a look at the runDisney races, which typically increase in the 8-10% range. I liked them better before the sleek runDisney branding, when they were a lot easier to get into and felt more like a well kept secret than a highly-publicized corporate event
