That being said, the promotions are just gimmicks at this point. It's laughable that there has to be one every single year.

In a way, it reminds me of the mindset of the Studio in the 70's, where they were so focused on making ideas that Walt had seen that they ended up not making much that was worth watching. Yes, Disney has a very important past that should be celebrated, but it seems that a lot of the time it is getting in the way of them moving forward. The year-long celebrations may not seem like much, but every thing they do adds up. In my mind, focusing on how great Disney 'was' seems to be getting in the way of letting Disney be great now.

I would like to see them as much as anybody -- and yes I recognize that Uni put pout for WoHP-- but if DIsney - re-themed 2/3 rides in a new area some here would rip them a new one.

My biggest concern with FLE 1.0 was the overemphasis on Princesses. Now that it looks like the Princesses will be a sidebar and they are putting in the 7 Dwarves Mine Coaster indoor/outdoor darkride coaster. I am looking forward to the finished product. Do I think it will be a spectacular as Potter? No, but I think it will be a nice new addition to the MK landscape. I do hope they do what Universal did with the opening of Potter and that is give the whole park a coat of paint and refurbs to all the major attractions. And just to show that Uni fanbois are the same as Disney's. The biggest complaint about the Potter expansion among the fans is how Dragon Challenge turned out. Everyone was hoping that they would repaint the tracks (maroon and black) and the queue is just up to what was required to pull it off. At the loss of one of the best queues in the business.
