They are both good systems, but you definitely want the one you'll use more and get more out of it!

DH was primarily interested in it because he likes using it to connect to our photos and music. I mostly use it to play games and watch Netflix stuff. That's the cool thing about game consoles these days - it isn't just about the games anymore. I think that, on the whole, gamers tend to prefer the Xbox due to the variety of games and how the console really is an entertainment center. On the other hand, if Blu-Ray is really important to you, you may want to purchase the console that's going to do double duty for you.
