Because the series, although winning several Emmy awards, was cancelled by ABC they had to rush to tie up some (but not all) loose ends and give the viewers at least some closure on some story lines. I won't spoil here, but they are definintely worth watching - the first of them includes guest appearances by George Segal and Richard Benjamin. Chi McBride (Emerson Cod) was there, as was Ellen Greene (one of the Darling sisters.) There was no panel discussion, because each episode was just short of and hour, so it was a long afternoon just for screening -- but totally worth it. Ellen Greene looked amazing - I looked her up and she is 57 years old - but you would never know it. As she walked down the aisle with some of the other folks who were throwing tee shirts to the crowd, I was sitting on the aisle and told her how fabulous she looked. She took my hand in two of her hands and said "Oh Thank you!!!" It was very sweet. cstephens - were you there? I confess, it has been so long since we have seen you at anything, I don't know that I would recognize you anymore, so next time you are at one of these, do say hi. We promise not to bother you - we just want to say hi.

I'd really like to finish watching the series.

There are too many reality shows out there that there isn't much on TV that I watch anymore.
