If you wait until after your current pass expires, it wouldn't count as being renewing, so you would have to basically get a brand new one. I'm not sure how they do the information input with online purchases, but I know that if you do it in person, you can just tell them that all the info is the same as when you had your AP before, and they can link them together. If you do it online, they will give you something to print off, which you will take to the front gate where they will print you a paper ticket that you can use for the day. At some point that day, you will need to go to the Bank of Main Street or the AP center in DCA (they might have it there if it's using the same picture and everythign) and get the new card.

That way you will get the $20.00 discount and the 20% voucher if Deluxe or Premium. Also if you upgrade when you renew you will get the upgrade features immediately (A free month of upgrades). You MUST renew by May 25th or it will be considered a new card.
