Do these passports work for a calendar year, or one year after you buy it?

If you buy an SoCal Select AP voucher, its expiration date is about 3 months after the date of purchase.

And if you fail to buy it during that time frame, then you still get the parice you paid for the voucher as a credit towards an AP (ie you have to pay the current price).

But DIsneyland only sells Annual Passes, which expire 365 days after the first day of use (ie get an AP on November 18th, 2005 would give you an expiration date of November 18th, 2006.

A Season Pass is one that expires on December 31st no matter when it is purchased.

The Six Flags parks (and others) offers Season Passes.
