One of the reasons I love going to DLR is the escape from my normal world. I love to do things and feel far from my ordinary work-a-day life. And the rainforest is about as far from that as you can get! To each his own. Clearly, the atmosphere isn't for everyone. But there are some of us over 10 who do appreciate it.

You have to pay extra if you want to upgrade the chips to either fries or fruit. The frozen lemonade was nice, but was $5. Anyway, I am in no hurry to go back. I would rather go to Mimi's.

And the Ceasar Dressing it comes with is very good...I, on the other hand am not fond of Mimi's at all...lol..I wish they had never gotten rid of the Acapulco that used to be there...lol good thing there are places at DLR for everyone to eat..hehe
Originally Posted By fkurucz I didn't say that I don't like RFC at all. Just that it is rather pricey for what you get. I had the turkey wrap, my son had a burger and my daughter had a bowl of pasta. That and 3 frozen lemonades came out to $55 (plus tip). I'm glad we went because it was a first for us. I liked the ambiance. But it seemed a bit pricey, so next time we'll try something else (that's new to us).

Of course, Tony Roma's doesn't have animatronic Gorillas, etc. But was no farther from the DL gate than the RFC.
