My 3 DD are especially interested in Build a Bear and Lego, since we didn't visit these last year. #2 We bought the Mr. Potato Heads last year in DCA. We want to go back and fill another box. Do we have to buy another potato, or can we just stuff parts in the box? #3 We did not do redwood creek challenge trail last year. Do you have to wear tennis shoes for the climbing things? We usually wear crocs or sandals. But I want to make sure we have the right shoes with us. Thanks in advance for all your help!

A search will give you more info. They have a strap so they don't fall off your foot. All 3 of my DD wear them everywhere. I am glad to hear you can just fill a box of potato head parts. Last year, we managed to get 3 potato heads but not one ear!! I am hoping we can check into HOJOs and then go shop and eat Sunday night, get to be early, and hit the park early Monday morning! 26 days until we leave Texas!!

I love this area because I love to go on the play structures, too! Love scrambling up the rope nets, chase my kids around, play hide and seek. How often do I get to do that kind of thing in a vertical dimension otherwise? Nevah! Only at DCA - so I love the RCC! Oh, and I do fine in sandals. They dry off beautifully from Grizzly River Rapids. Better than tennies that go squish, squish, squish the next few hours. Flip-floppy thongs are a bad idea in DCA for another reason.... they can fall off your feet while you are soaring in SOARIN'.
