How he became an Imagineer at Disney is an interesting story if you read his book. So many times he was rejected when he applied, but finally was able to land his 'dream job'. If I recall correctly, he helped to design some of the interactive virtual reality attractions for Disney, such as the Aladdin Magic Carpet Tour that was once featured at Innoventions. What a wonderful tribute for such an inspirational person!

This is not the first time that a quote has been displayed in a Disney park as a memorial like that. A couple years ago, Disneyland got a plaque next to a tree in Frontierland dedicating it as the "Halloween Tree", which was someone's vision for the park. The plaque sits there all year, but only makes sense for about a month and a half. I appreciate the work that people have done relating to the parks, but with additions like these, it really does begin to feel a little like a museum. I enjoy the 'hidden' salutes to people, like the windows in various locations, or numbers referencing significant days in their lives, but things this blatant just seem a little strange to me.
