I saw a HUGE one at Anahim Plaza Inn (ran across our patio) and have also seen one at Splash Mountain.

We have stayed at the CCI about six times now and are staying there again in Oct. I think any time you have alot of flowers, gardens, grass, bushes, etc tec you are going to get "pets".....

    Candy Cane Inn is wonderful

I've got news for this person-if Disneyland has RATS-which it does-hence the ferral cats that they have-so do ALL of the surrounding areas.

With the lush landscaping, palm trees and LOTS to eat-you will have rodents EVEN at the most expensive places!

No Thanks.....I was at the Grand for a week.I didn't see no rats, and I don't see any trip advisor report about them in the trees.

Maybe CCI should just get some cats.

Sorry, you don't know too much about this type of rat that is so prevalent in LA and most of CA.

Anytime you have food readily available and palm trees, lush gardens-you will have this type of roof rat-and they don't know that some hotels cost more than others.

Don't look too carefully at DL if you are concerned about furry little creatures, running about. DL doesn't have cats because the cats that I have seen there look pretty fat and sassy!

    OOPS-that was half a thought there! :0)

It should have read-DL doesn't have cats because they just love cats! And the ones that I have seen look pretty fat and sassy!

As others have stated here, there are rats all over the DLR area and the surrounding hotels and restaurants.
