However just now I was linked to this youtube video and damned if he was not SPOT ON!!!

In fact, it's sitting lonely and forgotten in it's Netflix envelope at home right now...

The costume Prince Naveen wears is very much like the one Prince Phillip wears, too. Only the color is different. So, yes, they've traced that dance at least twice!!!

That scene is kind of amusing too in comparison to the previous films because Charlotte's dress looks like a large pink bubble swirling around.

Aurora's dress flows in that scene. Belle's swishes a little. But Charlotte's looks a bit like a large bubble wand on the move.

It's interesting to see how the same animation can still create three different scenes and moods.

Also: Except for small details like the crown, slashed sleeve cuffs, the sash, and the boots, I think it is the same costume used for both. The same lines at least, though not the same colors.

    Prince Naveen's costume:

One thing I noticed is that they'll sometimes reuse backgrounds or effects. For example, there's one shot of wind-blown reeds that shows up in at least half a dozen different movies.

In 'The Jungle Book, Mowgli, walks through the jungle. He's sort of depressed, and as he walks he brushes a jungle branch out of the way.

That same piece of animation appears in 'The Sword and the Stone' -- Wart does that walk and 'brush the branch' move, and also in one of the 'Winnie the Pooh' movies, Christopher Robin does the same walk and 'brush the branch out of the way.'

As I'm recalling they 'flop' the animation in one instance...reversing it.

And how about "Jungle Book" copying off "Mr. Toad" in that monkey chase scene?

Seeing that side-by-side makes it REALLY weird to watch!
