Is it a pretty small area? Is it mostly sort of like an obstacle course? Anything else back there like crafts or anything?

    Thanks!

Without giving too much away it's basically DCA's version of Tom Sawyer Island themed to a Sierra area national park. There are "wilderness" trails, a forest ranger station and observation deck, rock climbing, obstacle courses, and a story telling area. I went without kids and found it to be very entertaining and it's bound to be better with kids!

    Here's a map:

I think it's been updated slightly since this was published, but it gives you an idea of the layout.

It's definitely got some of DCA's best theming (both early on when the park had little theming, and now that the trees have grown in), and it's a lot of fun to explore

Through the years it's gotten a couple different quasi-overlays (Brother Bear and Up), but I'm not sure what's featured there now, if anything

It is a really nice area.

They need to make something you can sneak in kids foods to keep them little and sweet forever. My daughter is only ten and already giving me the I'm too cool attitude even though at heart she's still a kid. ;)

Thanks for the info everyone, we'll definitely be checking this out in October!
