Originally Posted By Mr X ***F-you is worse than calling someone a whore? Is that where we are at right now?*** The very fact that you were afraid to write one "out loud" but not the other should be clue enough for ya. F, N, and C, those are the words we all know are naughty, can all refer to (as I just did), but can never say or print. W wouldn't quite work since it's already a curse word all by itself. ;p But besides my attempts at levity, you are acting like a typical con by taking the whole thing out of context. Calling anyone (male or female) a "corporate whore" is not equivalent to calling them a prostitute, it's a vulgar but extremely valid and new usage of the terminology (and because it works equally well for men and women, there's nothing sexist about it).
Originally Posted By Mr X ***Politics sucks.*** I can't disagree with that. But my retort would certainly be "politically correct language sucks worse". Seriously. I find it utterly ridiculous when NEWS ANCHORS reporting on a story are reduced to stating "so and so became angry and used the N-word in court" like some sort of schoolyard kid scared to say something Mommy wouldn't be happy to hear. Not that I don't find that reference vulgar and hateful, I most certainly do, and I hate it. But, here's the thing, it's not as though the news anchor actually didn't really SAY it, right? He did. But only in an "acceptable" way, so as not to offend our sensibilities. Out of respect for Doobie, I will simply say "F that!".

Calling these people whores would be an insult to prostitutes everywhere.

Grayson saying that Republicans plan is for people to die and quickly, and now this one, really are a variation of the cretin that yelled "shut up" at Obama's address. Im tired of that stuff from the GOP side, and not much in favor of the Democrat side joining in. That doesn't mean they should not stand firm for what they believe in, by the way.

For the most part I have really liked what this guy has to say and the fact that he has the balls to say it.
