So they will tell you they will take it into consideration - They are more accommadating to suites because they are less of them. Your room will depend on what is available when you get there based on who checked out and what is available.

You'd think there should at least have been a majority if the request mattered. Because of that, I have learned to love each tower and each stay in its own way and I never request location. (I actually do have a little preference for Bonita/Wonder, but not with a standard city view.)

I'm sure it could have changed, but we did end up with the rooms he originally assigned us, so you may want to ask to speak to someone on the room assignment team, and also find out the schedule for when they assign rooms. It's obviously something they do in advance instead of as you check in.
