Right below the grand total box was another box that stated, grand total $506. It didn't explain the extra 28 dollars, so I called to ask and the lady at the hotel said it was a resort assesment fee of $6.90 PER NIGHT. They also charge 11 dollars a night for parking!!!! Doesn't this seem strange??

The lady on the phone said the resort assesment fee was necessary because we are in a resort town and "all the hotels have them." I don't think that's true, HoJo doesn't have them!! Anyone else know about this or heard of this?

    Doubletree's fees seem outrageous.

I wanted to try something other than HoJo, and Candy Cane Inn was sold out and BWPPI was 149 a night, and I really wanted the DL Hotel but at 248 a night WAY out of my range....so Doubletree seemed perfect! Oh well, back to HoJO I guess!

So if I can go there for the 52nd and find someone willing to split a suite 4 ways, it will cost me about 60ish? :p
