    Pardon my controlled giddiness.

Sonja went through an interesting metamorphosis on the show which may be likened to that of a butterfly. She started out as a spaced-out, lazy, "groovy, man" hipster (caterpillar), morphed into a tomboy girl who got interested in boys and civic awareness (cocoon), and at last blossomed into a made-over feminine teenage beauty queen (butterfly).

(Hmm, ever get the feelin' you've said too much?...)

Do you think my attitude is why my friend's British husband calls me "The Feminist"? Could it be? LOL

Dorothy: "How did you know I was Brooklyn-Italian?"

Blanche's Uncle Lucas: "That's how Blanche refers to you in her letters."

Dorothy: "Yes, she must be punished..."

My love wasn't Simon, though, it was John Taylor. Had a picture of him on the ceiling above my bed. :)

The useless trivia you tend to remember from your youth. I was looking at the calendar yesterday and realized it was John Taylor's birthday. I had to go to the band website to verify if I was remembering it correctly.

Getting back on the Rick Springfield topic. DH & I were having dinner in downtown San Jose a few weeks back and overheard a table of ladies talking about going to see Rick later that night. I hadn't realized he was going to be in town.
