Have her ask her doctor. My sister went on roller coasters at 4 and 5 months pregnant with full blessings from her doctor. According to him, that baby is in there well and good, and at that time she didn't have enough of a "bump" to throw off her center of gravity, so the coasters would be safe for her.

On the other hand, when we were planning a trip to WDW and I was 6 months pregnant (and again barely showing) I had instructions to stay off of anything bumpy (Killi Safari at DAK, for example) because I had a small cyst, and AJ bumping into it would hurt, not damage me or the baby, I'd just be in pain.

So, she may have special instructions from her doctor, it won't hurt to ask.

Doctors will usually say no as it is a liability to them to say it is okay.

But here are a couple of stories:
My daughter told us she was pregnant on the top of the Maliboomer. She later lost this baby which was never healthy from the start. Riding rides had nothing to do with it; but had she miscarried right after she would probably have felt guilty forever even though she would have lost the baby eventually.

My daughter-in-law miscarried during our Feb. trip this year. She had gone on no wild rides at all. But if she had; there we go again. She would have second guessed herself forever.

    So my point is:
Is it worth it? I never thought anything about it and never had a problem. But if you do, you probably want to know you did everything you could.
Just my thoughts but I always say for people to use their own judgement and ask their baby-catcher if they want a professional opinion.

Did she exercise before getting pregnant? This would be helpful for her endurance in walking the parks. As far as riding the attractions, it really just is a matter of what she feels is right for her. We went to DL when I was almost 4 months along with our third child and rode Autopia, Big Thunder, and Splash. Matterhorn was under refurb then and Space had just come off a very long refurb, but knowing the centrifugal force created by Space, I did not go on it. We just celebrated DD3's 14th birthday.

A pregnant woman is not ill or "delicate." She is just pregnant.

Your friend just needs to do what she feels is best for her and her baby.

Ditto what LVBelle said about Roger Rabbit too, considering I was the one riding it with her!! :)

The weird thing is that I rode Big Thunder several times and never once had a problem with it, but the smaller rides like Mr. Toad would make me ill.

I went to DL with the warning from my doctor not to ride Space Mountain or Indy, and anything else that I didn't feel comfortable riding. Of course, LVBelle went to DL with the warning from her doctor not to ride anything except Small World, and only if it didn't have a drop in it - so there ya go! :)
