***This just in: Ted Kennedy's dead
    Just like everyone's always said:
    Mr. Kennedy drank
    And MaryJo SANK
Chappaquiddick is stuck in my head
    Cheers!***

***While this site - and many Americans - will not mourn this loss, we still extend our condolences to Kennedy's family***

***I hope he burns in Hell for what he did to Mary Jo - waited something like 9 or 11 hours to call the police, while she drowned - and the Mass. police never did a thing to prosecute him....the man was a failure, and worse, a liberal. Rot in Hell, Teddy!***

***I feel no more sorrow or sympathy for Ted Kennedy than I did for Saddam Hussein.***

***Kennedy was one of the “all enemies, foreign and domestic...” that I swore to defend our constitution from.***

***Ted is in God’s hands now and I actually hope there was a death bed conversion***

***All day long, we’re going to hear nothing but the media having orgasms about how “great” Ted Kennedy was until we want to puke. I understand that some here think we should respect the dead - I say if the dead wanted respect, they should have earned it in life.***

***Sorry, I shed no tears at the passing of this unrepentent murderer!!!

Hopefully, he is on his on his knees now apologizing profusely to Satan!***

***King of Pork and Earmarks Dead.

Next up for Teddy is a resting place in Boston’s Big Dig!***

    Well, duh.

Would you expect any of them to say "screw him"?

Besides, Arnold is part of his FAMILY for petes sake.

The point was not about pleasantries from dignitaries, it's about how the right wing "base" is reacting towards everything (even the death of an American patriot).

But to be fair, I wouldn't have seen the negative comments about Kennedy if I wasn't shown them by some concerned poster here. I don't read many (any) political blogs.

What, exactly, are you referring to?

If you have some comments you'd like to bring to light, I'd be very interested in seeing them.

If they're anything like what I posted, then maybe we can talk...

Even I'm gobsmacked by this statement.

Equating a handful of people to millions of people.

    Unbelievable.

Gee, talk about a double standard.

And FYI, may BOTH Robert Novak and Seantor Kennedy Rest in Peace.

When someone dies, it is NOT the time for nasty comments or attacks, regardless of their opinions or political leanings.
