We just saw him as on of Sally's dates in an old Dick Van Dyke episode. He was reading an inspirational poem for them, "Keep a goin'"> Really? Because he sings a song in "Nashville" (that he wrote himself) called "Keep a' Goin'." Guess he just recycled the idea a dozen years later. He was great in Nashville, by the way, as the pompous Hank Snow-like character.
