His show used to be on in the mornings here, right before or after Romper Room. Watching a clip yesterday, he was talking about many of the health guidelines that are standard issue today -- daily exercise rather than just all in one shot, and eating more fruits and veggies and lean meats and less processed, man-made stuff.

I really feel he helped shaped many of the healthy attitudes I have today. He was always about eating well and exercising more. It was my lifelong dream to meet him in person. I just missed him twice, once in the 70's and again in the 90's. My dream was realized about 5 years ago. I actually got to exercise with him, thank him and I have an autographed T-shirt. His wife is a hoot. I recently heard an interview where she quoted him as saying, “I can’t die, it’ll ruin my image.” (I have and use one of his juicers.)
