Wow, I'd forgotten about that! His show used to be on in the mornings here, right before or after Romper Room. Watching a clip yesterday, he was talking about many of the health guidelines that are standard issue today -- daily exercise rather than just all in one shot, and eating more fruits and veggies and lean meats and less processed, man-made stuff.

Probably in poor taste, but thought it was sort of funny in a cute way.

It was my lifelong dream to meet him in person. I just missed him twice, once in the 70's and again in the 90's. My dream was realized about 5 years ago. I actually got to exercise with him, thank him and I have an autographed T-shirt.
His wife is a hoot. I recently heard an interview where she quoted him as saying, “I can’t die, it’ll ruin my image.”
(I have and use one of his juicers.)

    It’s time to leave you,
    Let’s say good-bye............
    ....................
    May the good Lord bless,
    And keep you too.
