Well, this was an accident totally out of the blue. I can't believe she's gone so suddenly. The last time I saw her was Thanksgiving and I remember a couple of special things. First, she gave me an extra tight hug befure we left. Second, that special way she would tell us "I love you!" in such a sincere and heartfelt way. I'm going to miss her...a lot. Please pray for her and my family. Thank you.

It's obvious that your grandmother's passing would have been very sad for you even if it happened ten years from now and in a totally natural way. How much more difficult it must be that it happened so suddenly and from a seemingly random event. It's so nice that you had that hug and that expression of love when you last saw each other. Not all relatives get along, and not all express their affection for each other. It sounds as though you both treasured each other and you both knew that. How fortunate you both were for that! I hope it will be sooner, rather than later, that the sadness you feel will give way to warm feelings and smiles when you think of her. (((cmpaley)))
