Next to Fantasyland and rode Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio, Snow White, Dumbo flying elephants, the Carousel, Alice in Wonderland, the Teacups (Matt rode in the Gold cup), rode the Matterhorn twice – I love the Matterhorn, I get a kick out of thinking of Walt on this ride. Next we went back to Tomorrowland and got FP for Space Mountain and rode it once. Next to Buzz again and rode twice (Matt beat me – boo hoo). We got a FP for Buzz and walked over to Adventureland. We stopped and got Dole Whips. Matt had never had one and this was his new favorite treat. He had a whip and a float and loved them both! Ah to be a teenage boy and have that kind of metabolism! We then took a trip around ROA on the Mark Twain. Such a relaxing thing to do. We hit Adventureland and got a FP for Indy and walked back to Frontierland and did the shooting gallery for awhile. We strolled around and looked in shops. Matt bought another pin for his lanyard. He then ran to get FP for Roger Rabbit while I rested my feet and then we went to the Golden Horseshoe for the Billy’s show. Now we learned before we left on LP about the different shows on different days and so we were able to see them all and enjoyed each one! You gotta love the humor in an old time Saloon! And the Chili Fries – Ymmmm. We grabbed a FP for BTMRR and walked to the hub in time to see Mickey scale the Matterhorn. They have a cute little show while he climbs and we watched and laughed. What fun is Disneyland! We took off for Toon Town and rode Roger Rabbit. Walked around Toon Town and toured Mickey’s house. We spent a lot of time here, it is fun to really look at all the pictures and read the books and such there. Waited and had Matt’s picture taken with Mickey (although we forgot to pick it up that night). Next we took the train from the Toon Town station over to Main Street and walked back to the hotel. We swam and I did laundry. I just don’t understand why these hotels have so few washer and dryers? Matt took a nap until 5:30pm and then we got ready and back to the park by 6:30pm. We stopped in at the bank and upgraded to our new AP’s and it was quick and easy. Now we can come back for free!!! We watched the College Band on Main Street and then head down to the Carnation Gardens area. There was a swing band here and we stayed and watched people from young couples to really old couples having a blast dancing. We wish we knew how to do this, it looks fun. It was just fun watching even. We then went through the castle and over to It’s a Small World. We rode with a boatful of annoying young kids who yelled and splashed. It was not a good ride. So we head out for Tomorrowland and was going to ride SpaceM but it was down so we rode Buzz. I actually scored over 500,000 on this trip and beat Matt. He still holds the record though. We hit some shops and I bought Matt another pin and locking pin backs. He had lost his Buzz pin earlier that day – right after he bought it. So this was a good investment to keep the rest of his pins securely on the lanyard. We went over to Adventureland and to the Tiki Room. Next we did Indy. NOS was packed so we went back to Tomorrowland and listened to a band at club Buzz. While we were there Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto were on the stage and came into the crowd dancing with people. It was really fun to watch people get so excited to be dancing with the characters. Next we rode SpaceM. Then over to NOS and rode Pirates. Then we did BTMRR. I love Big Thunder at night! We were worn out by then and the park was closing so we walked out to the shuttle and rode back to the hotel. We watched Saturday Night Live and gave each other foot massages (steaming feet tonight!).
