A breaking point for the big boys is just around the corner, in my opinion.

Every summer when I decide Florida is too hot, I'll vacation to Ohio to hit Cedar Point and Kings Island, but I also make a stop at Geauga Lake (formerly six flags WOA). 10 Rollercoasters and one of the biggest waterparks in the country for 30 bucks... cant beat that for a nice day.

Pretty much all that's left now is the old Ski stadium (though, for how much longer, I don't know. No ski show was scheduled there in 2005.), the old Happy Harbor net climbs, the simulator ride that once housed Mission: Bermuda Triangle, and the Harbor Theatre that once showed the hilarious Pirates 3-D movie that starred Leslie Nielson and Eric Idle (one of my very favorite 3-D park movie experiences!!!). The simulator now shows the lame "Escape From Dino Island II" while the 3-D theatre plays some really insipid piece of cgi animated trash called "Robots From Mars". Neither attraction is near what Sea World had. Unfortunately, Geauga Lake is but a shadow of it's former self now. Hopefully, they can clean up their image and turn the park around soon. Also, they've also lowered their prices to $24.95 which includes both Geauga Lake amusement park and the Wildwater Kingdom water park. They're attendance the last two seasons have been pretty dismal under Cedar Fair ownership, so much so that they've had to cut prices TWICE to get people to come to the park!
