The show features the killer whales more, and the story that is shown on the amazing new video screens is entertaining.

I thought this one was a little too preachy. When it reached the 20 minute or so mark, it seemed like it was almost over so we bolted. Turns out it wasn't done so maybe we'll try to endure the 2nd half next time. I kept thinking "OK, it is going to get better" but it never did from our (my husband and mine) point of view. I was very disappointed. I guess I just like to see the whales do stuff. I don't have a real interest in the trainers or anything and this show seemed to be more about them than the whales. Maybe we just caught it on a bad day but there seemed to be VERY long periods of time with no whales at all. When you went did 6 trainers swim across the pool then go into the audience and high 5 people while running up the stairs? That killed like 5 minutes and there were no whales to be seen at all.

The effect of the new moving screens were a nice touch, however it should be called the "Shamu Trainer, What I wanted to Be When I Grew Up Show"!

That said, it definitely seemed too much emphasis on the trainers, rather than the orcas.

It was a relief to at least know during the Summer I can see a show I like. Now if they'd only bring back the ice skating show (or maybe a night time show with the dogs, cats, and pigs) that would be great!

I haven't seen the new day time Sealion and Otter show but the Sealions Tonight show was pretty good this year. They didn't do it last year which was a huge disappointment especially because the new show they were doing was REALLY bad. Hopefully the new day time show is reasonable.

This one is ridiculous with the mermaid and the pearl story line. The set isn't great, either. Usually I think that the sea lion and otter show is a do not miss...now I would likely skip it if the kids weren't with us!

I totally agree that they should bring back Kooky Castle. But I thought all of the previous shows were better than this last one. Hopefully people will complain (although I can't really talk because I haven't complained) and they'll do something better in the future. The night time show is quite entertaining and I usually go at night so I don't have to endure the day shows very often. I wish they'd do something at night in the Pets Rule stadium. I really miss the old ice skating show.

I thought the old Shamu show was good. I mean I don't think I'm really that hard to please. I like to see the whale do stuff just like most of the people who go to Sea World. As long as I see a lot of whale tricks, even though they are the same, they are still amazing to me! I've been an annual passholder for over 15 years and am still amazed at what the whales can do (and do on command). Of course my dog can only do about 10 things on command (and most of them aren't tricks they are things like going outside, going potty, etc). I guess the only real trick she can do is sit and down.
