Any assurance welcome, or suggestions of somewhere better that aren't much more than 300ish dollars than the $1080 we're paying for 6 nights plus tickets for 4 in to the park.

If you read this far, thanks in advance..

Try www.tripadvisor.com or other hotel sites and read the reviews. Then, hopefully someone will chime in here.

Gottaluvdavillains is pretty knowledgeable about hotels in the area.

Lists the dates you can get the entertainment card rate -

Even without the entertaincard rate LPers get a discount

Looks like it is about equal walking distance also

Now I need to somehow make it through the next 3 weeks--we leave on the 19th to drive down--YAY!

Besides being a gorgeous hotel, the proximity to DCA and DL cannot be beat. It's elegant and solid and you can almost hear its heartbeat. It will be the crowning touch of your visit, I promise.

Congratulations and be sure you take pictures and give us a nice trip report!

Do you know if they do the princess dress up thing like they do a WDW? We went to downtown disney there last fall (but not any of the parks--I didn't want my husband to kill me for taking the kids without him), and my daughter saw the girls dressed up from the bibidibopidi salon. do they have something like that at DL?

    thanks :)
