It was cold -5c, 20f when we left the UK, arriving in 60 degree temps felt tropical. Flight was good - the kids slept, so I was able to watch Stardust (excellent), Run Fat Boy RUn (quite amusing) and enjoyed the Eagle's new album. The BA cabin staff were great with the kids. Customs guy was ace and seemed really interested in a San franiscan living in the Uk with a british family (he was a big Disney fan). We had our chauffeur pick us up at the gate, load the car and drove us to Nob Hill at Sunset. We had a great greeting from the staff, unpacked and had a glas of zinfendal to relax. We were tucked up in bed at 8:30 pm local time, 23 hrs after getting up. But it was hard to keep everyone in bed after 2am, we finally gave in at 4:45 and got up. Hope everyone doesn't flag to much at today's meet. Coming forward, we are in Sf til Thurs, Monterey Thurs night, Santa Barbara Friday, Newport sat to sat (it's during this time we will visit San Diego Zoo, Sea World and Legoland), then DL 1st to 6th. I honestly don't know whether I'm coming or going these days. Sadly we will also miss the Castle China event (that is likely to be April 12) as we will be in Tokyo for the 25th stuff. Hopefully we can sort something out soon. Kieran - hope the family are well.
