    Well, I've said all along we need to get the foot in the door. I'll be disappointed if there's no public option, but I'll stay hopeful that future changes will be easier once the door is opened.

    Ultimately, anything less than a single payer just won't cut it in the long run.

    Some of the more liberal Senate members seem happy with the negotiations, so here's hoping.
