Thanks! I know this is the ultimate source for great information!

LOL Our AP's are up in October also so we usually renew them on our Sept trips and it all works out great. We usually buy our trip AAA or Walt Disney Travel and then apply our passes toward our AP's so that way on our next trip we have new AP's.

The weather was a bit cooler than we had anticipated but we heard that it was unseasonable cool that week (70s), we are from Utah so it was still nice to us. We stayed at HoJos and got a really good rate with the Entertainment card ($45.00/night) but we called a year in advance to get it so I don't know what you can get now since it seems that they have raised their rates during the 50th celeb. I would call them now directly and ask. Maybe since it is after the summer that you are going, you will get a better rate.

I remember Labor Day 1989. It was 110+ where we lived at the time (San Marcos, San Diego County).

But it can also be really balmy and nice.

But beware of two factors: the already mentioned Santa Ana winds and the 50th Anniversary festivities, which will still be going on in September (18 months beginning last May). Crowd levels have been above normal for the entire duration of the 50th so far.
