Anyone know of attractions shut down at that time?" They will post the dates of the halloween opening sometime in the summer but it usually starts between 9/20 and 9/25. There will be some decorations up before the Halloween time stuff starts but the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain will be closed until it starts. Before the Halloween opening there will be cut back hours during the week but the weekend hours will be the same. My family always stays at the GCH. Whitewater Snacks is really great for inexpensive snacks and breakfast. It is back by the pool. With a little one, I would request that your room not be on the Downtown Disney side because it can be pretty load until late at night. Have fun!
