Originally Posted By danyoung The longer you wait, the cooler it will be. The first part of September is still pretty hot and humid. Also, outside of hurricanes, it can be pretty rainy. But Florida summer rain is unlike most places. Just about every afternoon it'll rain for about 20 minutes or so. It actually works in your favor, as those not in the know will head for the exits. Once the rain clears up you basically have the park to yourself for the rest of the afternoon!

Originally Posted By danyoung October starts to cool down nicely, and the crowds are smaller than summer. That said, the popularity of Epcot's Food & Wine Festival has increased the crowds somewhat in the past few years. Still, October is a pretty nice time to visit.
