I loved the acting of both Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti. I think both actors clearly understood what this picture was going for and thoroughly explored each character well. I wish I could say the same for Monica Bellucci. I felt that she was just on the outskirts of fulfilling her character's completion. She did LOOK the part, however. The plot is good, even though you know what is happening and what might happen next. It gets even better when you think you know what might happen next and it doesn't! The actions scenes (practically the entire movie from start to finish!) were well crafted and executed. The overall winner? The dialogue. Everything from every action movie cliche to some newly created cliches were spoken over the bang and pows of gunplay. If you don't like violence or dark humor AND violence, please stay away...far away!!! ("Guns don't kill people...but they sure help!")
