And photos from about a week ago showing some of the track and the new flyer parts that have arrived:

Also, that October 8th update shows a bit of the development going on in front of the park, which I'm now told has been zoned for "retail and residential."

While I can't imagine houses going into that area it would be nice to get a few more restaurants within walking distance of the park.

    Enjoy the updates!

SFMM did close Superman: The Escape for about six weeks to do some preventive work on the restraints and it has been open ever since.

    We rode it last weekend.

I like to keep my hands up to make it seem like I'm brave or something. When I flipped over head down, and then felt myself suddenly get pulled backwards then thrusted forward with so much force I instictively grabbed on for dear life. What a rush.

Back on topic, I haven't seen anything on the new coaster. Are there any links I should check out to find out more about it or are they cloning it from another SF park?

And I'll add that I absolutely loved "X" ...unfortunately, riding the Viper right after it started me on my sad realization that my coaster 'constitution' ain't what it used to be 10 years ago. Heh. Now when I see "B&M Flyer" I immediately think "BM"... and the thought of riding it makes my stomach hurt. Oh sheesh, that's bad... especially since I have no ideas about its intensity. 'course, after "X" you gotta assume the worst (or best, depending on outlook), right? ;-)

Thanks for humoring me in my ramble, guys...
