I was hoping ... as the movie continued on ... that they would get another sassy, witty English dame like Judi .. but I guess that was not meant to be. So ... Ralph Fiennes seems to be the new "M" ... this time around - a male. Not a female. Anyway .... what do the rest of you think? I'm going to miss Judi Dench from the Bond film series ... but if she did another one ... she'll be turning 80. I guess at this stage ... it's time to say goodbye. She'll be missed. And I wonder how many more is Daniel Craig going to make. He ain't no spring chicken anymore. LOL .. you can see age setting in with him. So I wonder what changes will come in the future. And if I'm not mistaking, isn't the author of the series wanting to bring closure to it soon? I wonder.

I think with Skyfall the reboot is completed and now we have the classic Bond back. I would have also prefered a female as M, but I think Ralph Fiennes will do a good job. I just hope they bring back the actual MI6 building, because his office looks too old. As popular James Bond is right now, Skyfall will be the most successful movie of the series, I don't think they will end it soon. Daniel Craig signed on for two more films.

Despite the fact that the movies are 50 years old, in my opinion they are still pretty good. I was never a Moore fan and I don't like his Bonds that much. Only "The Spy Who Loved Me" was enjoyable.

My guess is that it will return to opening the next Bond film. Given Ms. Dench's age, I can see why she was leaving. She was excellent in her role, even more hard-nosed than Bernard Lee ever was. But I suspect Ralph Fiennes will be excellent in that role in the next few films. And the twist with Miss Moneypenny? Excellent! Although, I thought her and Bond never...ahem...never mind! Overall, I'm very satisfied now with Daniel Craig as Bond. Much more than his first two outings. I have a feeling that most die-hard Bond fans will find this film quite satisfactory.

Quantum of Solace was just bad, but Skyfall was fantastic.
