Another thing about this bitter-sweet opening is that it simply restores what was lost during harder times. A myriad of excuses were made for Disney about why the walkthrough closed initially, though no official reason was given. Fans speculated that it was because terrorism or ADA compliance. Both were nonsense. They simply didn't want to spend the money maintaining anymore. It was the same reason the Subs closed. Now both of those attractions are back (though Subs has to get a Nemo makeover, yuck). Good thing the Sleeping Beauty walkthrough didn't give them an opportunity to add Buzz and Woody.

(Anybody else notice that Disneyland shops at Michael's?) The merch doesn't get in the way much, and families were there taking their group photos on them, same as always.

This was our last day in the park for this trip, so it was an AWESOME and unexpected treat!
