How do you feel about black curtains? Or maybe the turned off effects like the starfield mobiles from the last version still sitting there unused?

I love the new ending, it is much better than nothingness.

I guess I just don't pay enough attention to detail, in the 20 or so times I have ridden it since the re-opening I have never really noticed so they must have done a pretty good job blending this stuff in. And if I don't remember/notice I doubt anyone who has never ridden the ride before would notice/care.

Not to be offensive, but sometimes I think people complain just to complain.

Agreed as I also have never noticed the stuff mentioned... and I tend to be a noticer of things not right (like the horrible dents and scratches in R n R Coaster cars and the desperately needed paint job on the trams)

Wild guess: you also don't notice that your head is poorly cropped in the animation either? And the ride vehicles don't clunk and clang through the ride?

I suppose SSE's lackluster new ending is fitting of your "vision" (or lack thereof) for the future - as sad as that may be.

I have always hated the ending to SSE both older and newer visions and think they are both lackluster but still have never noticed all this "bad show" mentioned...

    My point? It's nothing new.

As for attention to detail, I'm convinced that people notice what they notice. Just because someone notices a specific detail, doesn't make them better or worse than one who doesn't notice a specific detail.

-em notices the dinged up Rock n RollerCoaster cars -- someone else doesn't.

    Whatever...

Gimme a freaking break. It's not cute, it's not funny (unless, perhaps, you're part of the Walmart crowd), and it's terribly out of place given the serious and historically accurate scenes that have preceded it.

I have noticed the cropping but I think that is more an issue of the automated program used than anything else, it's not as if there are a hundred Indian artist sitting in front of PCs with photoshop somewhere in India cropping the pics. As far as the vehicle noise, some times I notice it more than others but it has been there for as long as I can remember so I doubt it will ever be fixed unless the entire ride gets replaced.

The animation makes us laugh. No offense to anyone....Different strokes, you know? Of course we only go to WDW once a year, so we ride for enjoyment and not to analyze everything.

I didn't realize that all Walmart customers shared the same sense of humor. :-(

When used in this sense, the term Walmart crowd implies a homogenous group. (They'll cringe at that description.)

What strikes me as so disappointing about the Flash animation videos, is that they could have been used for a serious purpose, to show plausible technologies that might come online in the next ten or fifty years.

I don't anticipate seeing a suitcase that can pack itself in my lifetime or, hell, in any lifetime outside of a Jetsons cartoon.
