Next, we were off to Sears for the $20 bed in a bag. The only one left was a twin size, so forget that.

Down to the Disney Store where they were making people queue up even tho the store was empty. Whatev! We have better things to do!

Over to JC Penney. We spent like 20 minutes finding the perfect bathroom towels, all soft and squishy. Then realized the check out line was an hour long. Ugh. Forget it.

Down to Ruby's for breakfast. Cinnamon Swirl French Toast combo with eggs over medium, sausage and orange juice.

Peeked back in JC Penney, but the line was still looooooooooooooong.

Over to the scrapbook store looking for KI Memories Alphabet Soup acrylic letters in a can. None to be found, had to spend my coupon on KI Monograms and GLOO. (He he he)

Then we were on the hunt for the Simpsons DVD that looked like Homer's head. Sold out at Target, Circuit City and Fred Meyer.

Back to JoAnn's to use the 12 noon - 10 pm coupon on an embossing heat tool (50% off!) Woot!

Then home, naps, back up -- and now, decorating the tree. :)

Wal-Mart was insane. People waited in their car until 5 AM & then rushed the doors, cutting in front of all the people waiting in line for over an hour. luckily for me, I entered through the Garden Section Door, which puts me closer to the Toys. There was a scuffle when a man grabbed a game from a woman's hand. Sheesh. Crazy.

Then I went to Target to get the Game Boy pack. It was much nicer here. They handed out popcorn & umbrella bags. They also made a human wall so that people couldn't rush the doors when they opened. They held them back until the line was in. I got the GBA, Bratz doll, Glow Doodle bear, Coffee maker (for $4.14!) & Barbie Pet Doctor kit. Again, I was in & out in 15 minutes.

Then I putzed around at K-mart & got some new Christmas lights & a Barbie Pet Doctor Doll.

I was home before 7:30. I won't do this ever again unless it's a very large savings. I thought it was insane & brought the worst out of people. Not fun IMO, but then again, I'm not much of a shopper.

Went to Fred Meyer's (NW Store chain).

There was a line (actually, multiple lines), and a little rushing when the store opened (not for me), but very civil. I strolled through and picked up 10 items (2 wind-up flashlights, 2 Hot Wheels, 2 pillows, 2 boxes of white Christmas lights, a Spiderman puzzle, and the Stargate special edition DVD). No line, as I used the food express items line (although the lines weren't really that bad anywhere in the store).

Swung into Target, and picked up the Disney Scene-it DVD game. There was a line but it moved very swiftly.

Swung into and out of JC Penny's.

Then to Ace Hardware. Waited 25 minutes for them to open. Picked up about 10 items that were almost all free after rebate (two sets of snowflake driveway lights, two sets of icicle lights, a mini cordless screwdriver, a magnetic screwdriver bit set, a sander, and a wonderbar (which will cost $1.99 after rebate)). Bit of a line here, but not horrible.

Swung into Office Depot to get tax software, but since WA does not have state income tax, they did not have the dleuxe+state edition that we needed.

Went to Safeway to get Darth Tater (for $4.49!) ... but the person who was putting out the toys said she hadn't seen them.

Since WalMart was right there, thought I'd go in and see if they had anything. Bought some $3.44 DVDs and a Christmas light timer. Lines at this point weren't bad.

Then home and back to bed!

So we headed to another WalMart and found them there. Plus I picked up the $4 food chopper and crock pot. Then returned to the origional Walmart where I left my car and bought Shrek 2 DVD for $5, the first season of the Jeff Foxworthy show DVD for $5, Swiss Family Robinson VHS $5.96. Called it quits. This morning I went to JoAnn's for flannel and bought a yard for less than a dollar. Not too bad. I just wish that I had aTarget nearby, a real mall would be nice too.

We got to Target at about 8:30. I bought the $4.19 coffee pot, a Remington Electric Razor for hubby, 4 pc pj set for only $9.99 for brat boy.
Then we went next door to Shopko. I bought some kind of wheel toy that Andrew has been wanting forever, and a Batman figure to go with the Batmobile that he BEGGED Santa for
We then went to the Mall, hit Sears and they were out of everything that we wanted, but found other tools that actually worked out better. OHHH yeah and also stopped at Cinnibon for some yummy fuel food. Then went to Suncoast Movies for the 1st Season Muppet Show DVD's and a gift card.
Before going home we stopped at Toys R Us to see if they had anymore Sharks Park Hot Wheels playset for $11.95 and they did, I was really happy about that one. I got that for Andrew to open on the day we bring baby home from the hospital to keep him occupied for at least a 1/2 hour LOL
All in all I did good, I only have my hubby to finish and I am done this year with shopping. My feet were the size of some of the Macy's Day parade balloons when I finally sat down.

My other daughter, mom, sister and myself started at the civilized hour of 9am. Of course crazy 4:30 am daughter joined us too.

We hit the Village in Corte Madera and poked around Crate and Barrel, Nordstorms etc., don't think we got any fantastic deals except youngest DD got some stuff at Express including a free evening purse :) And oldest DD got some Gymboree bucks which she then found out that she had to spend another $50 to use, BAH. The deal finder in her took the clothes back to Gymboree.

Had a yummy lunch at Boudins, 2 sons and one girlfriend met up with us. 4:30am son had bought a projector thingy for his laptop that morning and now needed a connector cord from the Apple Store.
DD pointed out that all the deals he bought that day were for himself, no gifts :)

We hit Cost Plus and Target on the way home. We had a lovely day :)
