From Usenet I went on to Intercot and WDWMagic (The old system), and at the time this was a DL centric site. It didn't matter. This has been and continues to be light years ahead of what else is out there. The moderation here is as close to Usenet as you are going to see. I am angry that Social Media is closed, YEP. But at the end of the day we are all guests here. Expo did the absolutely best thing. Start a new topic. If the discussion is meant to go on, it will. It will actually benefit 'new' readers, who wants to wade through 1100 posts?
