At least it seems less out of place in the always manic MK than WS--the constant buzzing in the anteroom of the French movie drives me insane.

TV screens in Frontierland and Liberty Sqaure?? YEA I DONT THINK SO

    Two questions:

-How long does it take to play the game?

-Is this considered a "major" addition to MK? I can't imagine spending time doing this. (Not really sure what the point is, either. You go from location to location and...watch the story play out on the screens?)

Can't say I agree with that. A lot of the effects in KP are pretty intrusive in some of the games (France and Germany stick out in my mind) and the constant buzzing of the devices are heard all over the place.

If the videos weren't obnoxiously loud, then I'd have a lot less problems with this.

And if the MK didn't need a plethora of maintenance upgrades while this waste was being built, I'd have no problems with it.

Totally agree. Completely destroys the pre-show area in the France movie. In fairness, if all the MK screens are outside, and they aren't especially loud (how can anything seem loud in Fantasyland?), I don't really care.

While the Epcot version doesn't have a HUGE negative effect on guests who aren't playing (the net effect is still negative, since you hear the phones going off, and if you happen to stop next to a clue spot you're SOL), it also has much more space to play it in. I can't imagine why they want to add any more traffic to the already-full walkways in MK, for something that already exists (apparently in a better form) in another park.

Really? Wow. I've seen the scene in there being activated, and it's just a gargoyle sticking his tongue out. Big deal. And there's an effect on the backdrop in the Mexico pavilion's pyramid where a fireball launches out of the volcano. If you didn't know what it was (and I didn't the first time I saw it), it looks like an added special effect. Totally fits in, and doesn't detract at all. To say that the KP game "destroys" the Impressions de France pre-show area just baffles me. I know we're all entitled to our opinions, but I don't understand this one.

There's a lot of exhibits on the walls re: gothic cathedrals, the whole room is meant to suggest the interior of a cathedral. The loud buzzing echoing off the stone walls every 90 seconds gets very, very annoying. By the third time, I'm ready to grab one of the cell phone things and smash it on the floor.

There's a difference between playing the game and being a bystander to someone (or a stream of someones) playing the game.
