In 15 years of being on online forums, jonvn remains the only time I have contacted the owners of a board to implore them to do something. And that was before he was banned the first time, which was before he was asked to take a break from posting, which was before he was banned the last time. Save perhaps, Mr X at this point, I am unaware of any poster here who has been given as many "second chances."

I was really intimidated by him when I first came to these boards but as I got to know him better I saw a different side to jon. He has a wonderful wit and can be very compassionate...our views are very different but I found that, if I treated him with respect, he usually returned it. I do understand how others might feel about him though.
