I could easily put a Slash and Burn thread on EVERY board here because Rasulo and Staggs and their decisions are affecting things across the board. I don't because it isn't right and, besides, I get the feeling the mods don't like me so it wouldn't last unlike your rant. <<By the way..."KEWL"? You know spirit, every once in a while you strengthen my theory that you are a 22 year old girl who got kicked out of the college program and has rich parents.>> You KNOW?!??!?! HOW??!?!! I couldn't help getting kicked out of the program. I was just trying to use my nubile young body and sexual prowess to get ahead in the company ... nobody bothered to tell me that most of the execs don't like girls! I knew I should have listed to the Girls Gone Wild in Theme Park producers and applied at Busch Gardens ... all that beer ... they have real manly execs there! No chardonnay sippers listening to showtunes! <,Also to stick with the topic, you constantly talk about the downward spiral of disney attractions and then you defend the brainchilds that have come alate recently involving Pixar (with the exclusion of TSM.)>> You should read what I write and if you need help with the comprehension part then ask. I am not happy about the cartooning of the parks and you are right most of the characters are coming from the Pixar side of animation (I guess we won't be seeing any Bolt overlays or Meet The Robinsons attractions soon ... btw, I liked both films myself but ...) I HATE, HATE, HATE the fact the first three attractions you see when you enter Tomorrowland at MK are SGE, MILF and Buzz ... that's so lame and I'd love to hear Tom Fitzgerald, Eric Jacobson and Co. answer to those 'sins' (maybe in an interview with 'Tales' ... OK, that was a joke we know it ain't happening). But my point was simply that Pixar is still turning out a first class, no peers in the business product while no other division at TWDC (except perhaps ESPN in the world of sports) can say the same thing. Wanna bash characters taking over the parks? I'll bash right along side ya. But I am not making a distinction between Pixar and Disney ... the reason why the characters going in are largely Pixar (although they are beyond overkill with Stitch, and I love the character and the film) is simply because those films have been huge hits, while Disney's films haven't.

AND ITS NOT AMERICAN!!!>> I hate when people make up their own languages. American is almost as bad as Klingon. And I admit to shuttering in public at some of the strange tongues in my mou... I mean languages heard at WDW! <<-CHILDREN STILL ALLOWED IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM! WHEN WILL THE INSANITY END?>> I don't know, my friend. I just don't know. Perhaps we could get the ECVs removed first ... the brats will be harder. They tend to scratch and bite when you try and toss them over the berm. <<-I COUNTED 345 PIECES OF BUBBLEGUM UNDER THE TABLE OF 5 DIFFRENT QUICK SERVICE LOCATIONS!!!>> ONLY 345??!??! Wow. I am brain-damaged and all. <<-I AM BETTER THAN EVERYONE BECAUSE I HAVE MORE INTERNATIONAL PARK MAPS THAN ANYONE EVER BORN.>> I wish!!!! <<-CHIPPED PAINT, A GROWING TREND!>> So, you've noticed too? Whew!!!! I thought it might just be all the drinking I need to do before entering Disney parks these days. <<-I HATE ATTRACTIONS THAT HAVE CHEESY MOVIE TIE-IN'S BUT I WILL DEFEND PIXAR BECAUSE I THINK IT WILL MAKE ME SOUND LIKE A BETTER PERSON.>> I should use this strategy in the real world if you think it will work. No matter what situation I am in, I'll just toss out how wonderful I think Pixar is and that might get me through ... if I have to deliver a baby, rush into a burning building, get a project to my boss, get out of paying my taxes, forget a friend's B-Day, deal with a plumbing disaster etc ... I'll just start praising Pixar and all will be fine. I feel much better. <<-WWW.LAUGHINGPLACE.COM IS THE ONLY WEBSITE IN HISTORY EXCEPT FOR SOME PORN SITES TO BE COMPLETELY BLOCKED FROM ANY COMPUTER ON DISNEY PROPERTY, EXPLAIN THAT.>> I can't ... I also don't believe that is true since certain Disney execs (let me make up a name here so no one gets who I am talking about ... uhm ... ah Bill Colmes) have been caught with their pants down (metaphorically, of course) reading this site on their work computers! <<I KNOW THIS POST IS GOING TO GET PULLED BECAUSE THE TRUTH HURTS, GOOD NIGHT.>> The truth may hurt, but not as much as say jumping onto a bicycle that's missing a seat ... boy, does that smart. And see, it didn't get pulled. It takes a lot to get something pulled here ... and that's why this is such a great site really!

Oh here's the latest Pixar ride idea. Now what land can we shoe-horn it in, even if it doesn't fit the land's primary theme?>> No one at Disney appears to care about proper theming when it comes to character-based attractions and entertainment. I find WDW (and MK by far) the worst offender, but Little Mermaid may be a great attraction (and it will be) but it has no legit theme in DCA ... just like Turtle Talk has no place in TDS. The cartooning of the parks is one of the worst aspects of WalMarting. <<Monsters Inc. Comedy Club .. perfect example!>> Yes, it is. <<Pixar may be the best Disney has right now ... Doesn't mean the overall tone of Pixar is just a bit too harsh on the "contrast" compared to the rest of Disney where the overall tone isn't as "sharp" and "in your face".>> Well, I'd argue that's simply a result of the fact Pixar's films have made umpteen billions for Disney since 1995 ... at the same time look at what Disney's own animated films have done since then. But Stitch is as in your face as anything Pixar related and I hate it for two reasons ... one because it contributes to the cartooning/loss of focus and two because they have wasted a great character by NOT finding a decent attraction to host this great character.

I'd page Leemac to this thread, but he's been missing in action and I am not sure he could release such info since Disney is likely waiting for their mini-media whoring fest for American Idol to officially say anything about Space Mountain.

It doesn't seem fair that you could actually lose money when patrons don't tip enough.>> Trust me, it is unfair, but they don't want the hotesses, bartenders, food runners, and bussers relying on the tips of a server. Its makes more sense to rely on how busy the establishment is.

I do want to make people laugh (it really is the best medicine) ... and then think too. But, rest assured, it takes a lot to piss me off and your posts didn't come close. I sensed you had just gone through a rough day/night. It isn't really the best time to post (I've learned that the hard way) ... but since this place is largely a more adult, mature, fun-loving crowd you're generally going to be safe even when you go off. But I'm happy to know I can entertain even while drinking rum (straight up tonight) while watching the hated Gators play for the national title. So ... please ... take a shot or two at me and let's see if I can be funny after another drink!!!

Couldn't stand them more in the 90s when the ole ball coach actually made them relevant, yet they still couldn't accomplish what FSU and UM could and did. And I certainly can't stand them now that they are good, have a poster-boy QB and a coach with an ego that makes Spurrier's look small by comparison. Of course, I don't like the Sooners much either. And there's the quarter ... 0-0 ... not much of a game thus far.

They are 13-0. They defeated six bowl teams. They destroyed Alabama (the team many felt was best in all the land before FLA beat them). I really hope that AP votes them No. 1 so they can lay some claim to the title. USC blew it by losing to a team it had no business losing to, so they need to live with it.
