Just keep the building but redo the entire indoors into a truly worthy 21st century experience.

It reminded me of riding the Matterhorn here at Disneyland (which BTW hurts too!!)

It was so weird riding Space Mountain without any sort of music going on. For me the music totally makes the ride -- plus they have Red Hot Chilli Peppers playing right now, which is cool.

That ride has the potential to be so cool with all of the space in there. They need to take a lesson from Disneyland and update -- Disneyland survived not having Space Mountain for 2 years -- heck they have survived without the subs for like 10 years hehe!! =D

They need two rides, yes, but a total revamp as well.

Furthermore... one long track with a coaster vehicle similar to DLP's Space Mt or R&RC would move the line rather fast. I have experienced fast moving lines at both of those rides once you get past the FP merging point. Yet, I believe there could still be room in there for dual tracks and much longer on lenght as well...as the speace above the switchback is just empty space.
I personally would like to see the switchback area covered like DL/TDL and have more track up above. It would make this particular ride much darker than what it is now..

This seems more likely since there could theoreticly be a minimum of 7 trains on line at one given time. (2 at load/ 2 at unload/ and 3 in the circuit that would include 3 brake zones) Although EE and CA Screamin' do just fine with 5 trains.

sometimes that may be true but most EMH nites in summer that i have been there, that line can reach past way past the entry and there are no fast passes.
