Saturday, we were at Candlelight when it was scheduled. Half of us stayed to enjoy the show, the other half moved to the back of the pavillion to see the launch. We saw the sky totally light up, but couldn't see the shuttle. The half that moved saw the sky light, and saw the shuttle and the booster separation. The comment made was that, as the shuttle rose in the sky, the chorus was singing "Do you see what I see, a star, a star...". Said it was totally awesome - couldn't have planned it any better.
