It's an ok family picture. \ Just take your kids, go, have fun.

He said it was better than the last two Harry Potter films. (I can understand his comment since the last two films were a bit more 'older teen' in there concepts and theme than the previous films.) Overall, I thought it was a pleasant diversion and would reccommend it to anyone with school age kids who like this type of movie. And unlike Bridge to Teribithia (which was a very good movie, btw), the TV spots and trailers were not misleading. Pretty much what you saw in the trailers was what this film was about, mostly about the fantasy elements. Teribithia was very good, but was totally mis-marketed. It was NOT a fantasy movie at all, but a family drama about two young adolescents and their school and family problems and how they dealt with them with their 'make believe' world. And, it was much more tragic, heartwrenching, and realistic due to it's 'surprise twist' storyline.
