Let's assume that WDI wants to 'fix' the ending. (Yeah, that's a big one).

Let's assume WDI wants to do this in the cheapest way possible. (Yeah, that's a safe one).

The idea.....Tomorrow's Child, a new recording, in the descent tunnel. (Original... huh?!)

This popped up in my playlist and wow, what an embodiment of everything that is missing from the new ending: an upbeat, bouncy, fun, innocently optimistic view of the future.

Irons' version (the only one I've experienced) did it through an inherently inspiring score and by relating the geosphere to our planet in literal terms (i.e. the SSE model hanging in space at the end).

It was far from perfect of course- with the freakishly gigantic news- anchor projections; but it did have a sincerity and humanity we don't get from a disembodied voice and a computer screen.

Dynamic and fun, it's an easy way to make a black, empty tube more bearable..........make it connect with the audience somehow.

    Any thoughts?
