It is a drag that the opening week collides with Birthday weekend in Disneyland. We cannot do that this year so I hadn't realized the conflict. I just so love the Fab4.
Maybe we should aim for the last week. I do not recommend closing weekend as it gets wicked crowded. Especially if we are thinking midway rides.
The three years that we have done this have been weekdays with virtually no lines. But I realize people have jobs and obligations so a weekend may be necessary.
I did not see a bargain day for rides. Usually there is one day a week where they are only $1 per. So the best deal, if rides are a consideration, looks like the Subway buy a wristband get admission deal. But watch for the dates, last year I waited too long.
So folks, let's knock it around and see if we can come up with something that works best for the most.
As far as rides go for us; we can take 'em or leave 'em. If everybody else wants we will do them though.

I don't go on the rides and DH will sometimes but doesn't care.

We will likely have our grandson the 16th-19th so that would be out for us. I'll see if our DD will get her anniversary get away dates set soon.

I'm just going to go with the flow on this meet. Whatever everyone else wants to do, just as long as it's not July 15-19. Too bad Weird Al is on the last day. It'd be a hoot to hear him perform Skipper Dan!

With the dates changing to July and the fair being longer it could be okay. I would love to see Weird Al myself.

Tickets for Oaklahoma go on sale May 17. We can do Friday night or Saturday matinee. Depending on what day you pick to go to the fair. (if you pick that weekend.)

It really bugs me that the fair overlaps the Disneyland July meets this year.
