That whole queue concept just seem so strange to me. I guess I'll have to wait until I see it in person (in January!) to really understand it.

We just knew what to do because we stay in touch with most things Disney. For guests out of the 'loop', they may have been confused.

That is very easy to do, for the average guest.

ORWEN: In certain sections of the queue, it might be possible to squeeze past other guests--depending on who they are and who you are. We don't want to spoil things for you by saying what there is to do there. But on a hot day I wouldn't recommend getting in line for the interactive queue because there was no shade and if the guests ahead of you take too much time, you could get steamed--literally! So I'd wait for a cloudy day to do the interactive queue--which is to the left, by the way.

ORDDU: If you want to avoid the interactive queue, just stick to the line that's to the right and you'll be able to enter the Haunted Mansion faster.
