You go up on the porch (depending how much of the queue is in use, you may come up the front stairs, or join the porch on the side or back of the house) and right past the front door. You enter through a spot that would logically be a window (there's a window in the same location 'mirrored' across the door), but it set up as the attraction's entrance. They have wooden louvers (look like mini-blinds) surrounding the porch in this area, so you can't really see it from the queue or walkway. A house of that size would have likely had 2 or 3 entrances, but they would not be on the same side of the building or that close together.

Anybody know about Phantom Manor at DLP. For some reason I'm picturing people walking through the front door, but I believe the setup is similar to WDW, where you enter the side of the hill, with the house still a little bit further away.

Weird that the other 2 designs (DL and WDW/TDL) use awkward entrances but they figured out how to do it right for DLP. I wonder what HKDL will be like. Their building seems to have a walkway to the front door, but that doesn't mean that guests will use it (like DL).
