Attention spans are much shorter. People foam at the mouth and have to check in on foursquare every 2 minutes of their lives. The further shortened tiki room works for the ADHD crowds in florida. Anyway, the show looks cosmetically great and sounds great. The smoke effect in the tiki basin sucks. Only produces smoke maybe 3 times in the show and just is a huge waste of space, but it was great to see the old show return, though I wish it was a new polynesian themed show, I'll take tropical serenade 2.0 over new management any day.

Crowds were heavy in the MK at first then thinned out later in the day as the heat index rose. Was amazed at how pleasant my ride through the HM was. Only whispering guests in the stretching room, no backup of crowds in the load area, and finally got to see the new Hitchhiking ghosts and liked the new effects.

Main Street still looks great with it's new paint job now that all the buildings have been repainted. The tiki room is not yet mentioned in the maps and times guide as of monday the 15th...it's still listed as new management, and theres a picture of jack sparrow on the front cover.

Monorails suck beyond belief. Looking so aged, smell funky, and constantly in holding patters.

Went to Epcot for a little. Beverly is back and restocked at club cool. Reminds me of club soda or seltzer water, but damn that south american fanta is GOOOOOOD!

Impressions de France...oh...my...God....got to see it in digital form, and it looks like it was filmed yesterday. Amazing color, sharpness, the screens all play in sync, etc. Scary how some of the fashion is slowly creeping back in style across Europe and urban America.

World Showcase is just plain charming.

    Guest observations:

"That must be the swan and dolphin" *man pointing at the polynesian"

"No, that was there before this was all built" *woman talking about the grand floridian and that it must predate WDW*

"There is no big stuff and rides here" *Dad entering Epcot with kids*

then I watched a family of four have a total meltdown in the Epcot parking lot over how the car seats were fastened.

BTW gas is 3.48 in Osceola county=I'm so happy

    tomorrow....star tours!!

princess tiana was MIA, but jazz music is playing at the gazebo between liberty square and adventureland.

That sounds great, I really need to make time on my upcoming trip to finally see this film. And I agree with your comment on the fashion - very scary, but I think here in Europe you can't really talk about "slowly creeping" anymore...
