Originally Posted By fkurucz >>fkurucz ~ I am not scared of ants - unless there is a mountain of them....<< They can quickly become a mountain. When we lived in San Diego County all it would take would be to leave a dirty spoon in the sink at night and next morning there would be a million ants in the kitchen. Eventually we got fed up and had an exterminator spray the perimieter of the house on a periodic basis. >>They got Roaches..... I am not scare of roaches...but I won't sleep with them either.<< That is not nice, but according to my sister just about every hotel has them (hopefully they spray enough to keep them out of your room).
Originally Posted By fkurucz ^^That's what the insecticide is for. My sister tells me that hotels spend a lot on exterminators. Its hard to keep the bugs out. People leave food all over their rooms. Of course a newer hotel will have fewer problems than an older one. If you read the Anaheim restaurant inspection reports (I forget the website) most restaurants have some problems with vermin. And most hotels have a restaurant.
