There are always little things that you forget when you go on a road trip and a checklist is always helpful!!

Andrew was 7 and Holly was 18 months old at the time. I also played with them not asking them to play with something. We had a blast and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I use to wrap up little gifts in napkins, like fruit snacks or toys that they played with 2 days ago- it made the toy seem new again. We drove no more then 8 hours in a day and always went swimming -even when that was the very last thing I wanted to do because of how much work it was for me. But it was not all about me and I too always felt better after a little dip!
